ANNUAL WOMEN’S ECONOMIC FORUM PROPOSAL

PURPOSE: The proposal envisions a dialogue with extraordinary powerful women from all over the world, highlighting their successes & journey’s. These women will be world leaders from different walks of life i.e. Nobelist, Entrepreneurs, Politicians, Financiers, Scientist, Doctors, Scholars etc.

PROPOSED STRUCTURE: It would be a one-day rendezvous – an annual parallel event during the Commission on Status of Women in partnership with U.N. agencies, Corporations, NGOs etc.

INTENDED OUTCOME:

Creating a “leader body” that will nurture an enabling environment for achieving gender equality and the advancement of women, taking into account, inter alia, the fields of education, health, economic development & women’s empowerment.
